Solar Power Projects
Community will be the center for planning and development of over 5000 megawatts of solar power within a +/-10 mile radius. Each power plant will utilize a 1 square mile right of way provided by the BLM on Federal lands. Each of the +/-31 square miles will produce an estimated 175 megawatts of renewable solar electricity. Projects are anticipated to be developed over 10 years at 3 to 4 square miles per year. Plants will be distributed on less than 10% of the land area. All development will be built under an environmental habitat preservation plan. These projects will create thousands of high paying jobs and billions of dollars of economic impact.
